Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience).

Note* This position requires the candidate to be on-site for three days per week. Visa sponsorship cannot be provided for this role.
 

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our company’s growth strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding our market presence, and achieving revenue growth targets. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership skills and a track record of success in business development.

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinating efforts with the senior management team to develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Supporting department head with client management and tracking ongoing work in progress documents.
  • Supporting other departments and business activities on an ad hoc basis.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Should be capable of documenting and presenting business expansion strategies and progress to the senior management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products/services to effectively communicate their value propositions to clients and partners.
  • Helping with the development and execution of lead generation strategies and initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Attend regular client review meetings and suggest areas of continuous improvement to enhance service delivery.
  • Raise the company profile via social media activity and networking.
  • Develop a strong awareness of market trends and competitors.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive business development reports and presentations to stakeholders and executives.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the technology sector for 3+ years.
  • A sincere passion for broadening knowledge and honing skills as a business developer, backed by a clear commitment to continuous learning.
  • Adaptability to excel in a dynamic and constantly evolving business environment.
  • Strong understanding of the tech industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Preparation of credential statements, case studies and capability statements and to support in the preparation of bids and bid presentation materials.
  • Having knowledge of ServiceNow or a similar Platform is highly desirable for this role.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and performing effectively under pressure.
