Job Summary
As a Client Acquisition Specialist, you will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities for Akoni Resourcing, our new division. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong sales skills, a deep understanding of the recruitment industry, and the ability to build and maintain robust relationships with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients across various industries to broaden the consultancy’s client base.
- Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and secure new business.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
Lead Generation and Outreach:
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Use CRM systems and sales tools to track and manage leads and client interactions.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand clients’ recruitment needs and provide customized solutions.
- Negotiate terms and agreements to secure new client contracts.
Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular contact with potential clients throughout the acquisition process.
- Ensure a smooth transition from client acquisition to onboarding, working with internal teams.
- Follow up post-acquisition to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to refine acquisition strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to drive business growth.
Performance Tracking:
- Track and report on key metrics, including leads generated, client conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Analyze performance data and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the recruitment team to align client needs with recruitment solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support client acquisition efforts through targeted campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably in the recruitment industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present and persuade effectively.
- Demonstrated success in sales and business development, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and performance data.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and leads simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
